Human motivation, optimal performance, and well-being have long captivated me and led me to pursue various degrees in psychology. I am a graduate of Utrecht University (BSc), VU University Amsterdam (MSc), and the London School of Economics (MSc), where I obtained degrees in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and International Human Resources Management. I started my career on short assignments in various international organizations (The United Nations in New York City, Cellulant in Nairobi, and Summit in Cairo), after which I was engaged in the field of people analytics at Oracle. Specifically, I worked as a Workforce Intelligence Consultant at Oracle’s headquarters in the San Francisco Bay Area. To discover what makes employees flourish and productive, I conducted global research on topics such as frontline manager effectiveness, employee engagement, attrition, and performance. In my research I used advanced statistical modeling and specialize in talent management. This background in organizational psychology and international HR experience, brings a wealth of theoretical knowledge and business acumen. I translate this knowledge into a coaching practice based on scientifically proven approaches and best practices.
I am curious, a strategic thinker, and a good listener. Coaching gives me tons of energy, as it is truly inspiring to see people achieve their goals and transform to a calmer, happier and more confident self. Outside of coaching, I protect my free time, in which I love to be with friends, family & my dog, travel, and read.
